The moment you have all been waiting for! James Potter and the Crimson Thread is now available along with all other books in the James Potter series at the URL below.

You now have two ways to listen to your audiobooks:

1. Create a Gumroad account when you purchase any of the James Potter audiobooks, then download the Gumroad app from your App Store and login. Your purchases will appear in your library. Please note, this app is not fully accessible, but it can be used. The audiobook titles are not spoken in the library screen, but once you double tap on a listing, the screen displaying the individual chapters is accessible, and also the player screen is accessible. Many of our visually impaired customers asked us if we could have an app, and this is the best we could do. It does work with a bit of fiddling around.

2. Use the download button once you complete your Gumroad purchase, to download the files to your computer. For those of you who don’t want to mess around with the app, this is the more traditional alternative.

Finally, I am sad to announce that the James Potter series podcast will be discontinued seven days from today. This is due to financial issues. The cost of maintaining the podcast is too much. You have seven days to download any of the currently available episodes if you wish to do so. After that time, the podcast will be taken off-line permanently.

Hi folks, just a quick update to let you know that the first 17 chapters have now been finalised, and I am moving on with the remaining chapters over the next days. The audiobook will be released within the next couple of weeks. Instructions on how to get the audiobook to follow.

Important notice!!!

Please note that due to new data protection laws coming into force on the 25th of May 2018, Living Audio C.I.C. Will be closing all online customer services offered via its websites.

All customer data will be completely purged and deleted permanently from our systems, including:

Names, addresses, telephone numbers, dates of birth, genders and disability status.

We will retain the following information securely in encrypted off-line files to verify purchases made by customers previously:

Email address, transaction ID and products purchased.

Our intention is to re-launch our online services via a third party provider in the near future, and those customers who have previously purchased products from us will be able to access their purchases again once the new system has been set up.

Why are we taking this step?

Living Audio Is a very small not-for-profit organisation with limited resources. The cost of maintaining our online websites and services is already very expensive, and these additional data protection laws will place an unacceptable burden on us as an organisation.

By harnessing the power and services offered by much larger third-party platforms Who will manage customer data protection and security on our behalf, your data will be much more securely protected than Living Audio could ever hope to manage on its own.

We also believe that this move will enable us to provide a much more streamlined and powerful delivery platform suited to modern technology and the needs of our customers more affectively going forward, and enable us to get on with content creation rather than customer account administration and security.

Please bear with us during this time of transition, and we will notify you once our new service is up and running and we are satisfied that it will deliver a great new experience for our customers in the future.

Bad news I'm afraid! Hi folks, Matt from living audio here. I'm sorry to have to announce that as of yesterday, my studio computer has failed. It is literally hanging on by a thread right now, and I am unable to do any editing at present. This means that the Morrigan Web audiobook cannot be released on 24 December as promised. What I can do however, is release the first half of the audiobook as a part one release. This consists of the five parts of the prologue, plus the first 13 chapters of the book which have already been edited and finalised. I have the audio for the remaining chapters as it was recorded quite awhile ago, but it has not yet been edited and tidied up. The first half of the audiobook will be available to those of you who have pre-ordered since 1 December, and the remaining chapters will be available to you once I have purchased a new studio computer, and they have been completed. Unfortunately, for financial reasons and the fact that it is just before Christmas, I won't be able to get a new machine until the new year as I will have to get the money together and have the new machine custom-built. However, part one does consist of roughly 15 hours of audio, so there's quite a bit to get your teeth into for the time being. I will also extend the pre-order period be on 24 December. I'm really sorry about this, but unfortunately the studio machine is now seven years old, and has been heavily used. The system is finally reaching the end of its useful life, and I am now losing completed work when I tried to save the masterfiles, as they become corrupt when saved to the hard drives. The problem is occurring on three completely separate hard drives, and as the software I use to edit has never given me these problems before, I can only conclude that the system in general is practically dead. It could be windows, it could be the RAM, the processor, anything. The point is it will take me a lot of time to pin down the exact problem, and as the system is quite old anyway, perhaps it is just time to upgrade. Solid-state hard drives here we come! A new machine is going to cost me about $1500, so I will try to get the money together as quickly as possible. Once again, I am very sorry about this, and I will do my best to get the remaining chapters out as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding, Matt

James Potter Series

A very special announcement by G. Norman Lippert, Author of the highly acclaimed James Potter Series.

Greetings all, this is your friendly neighborhood Geo. A long time ago I vowed to write another JP book (I believe it would've been book 3 at that point) when we hit 10,000 likes to this page.

Well, we've apparently hit that marker-- bully for us!! -- so I'll take this opportunity to favor you all with some bad news and good news. The bad news is: I haven't started JP 5 yet. The good news is: I soon will.

I've made a discipline, you see, of writing one fully original book for every JP book, and thus I am currently about half-way through that story. Fortunately, it's a shortish story, a mere clipping compared to the JP stories, so I have every expectation of finishing it soon and launching into "James Potter and the Crimson Thread". Woo! My kids, like you I hope, will be very happy to hear this.

In the meantime, your encouragement and well wishes are extremely appreciated.

AND in the meantime, let us gear up for the coming release of the Audiobook of "Vault of Destinies", from Living Audio, starring the amazing Justin Sargeant! I'm extremely excited to hear that myself. It's like experiencing the book for the first time all over again.

However, you will still be able to access free services, such as the free audio-stream of James Potter and the Curse of the Gatekeeper by G. Norman Lippert and narrated by Justin Sargeant.

You may also be able to purchase some of our content via other online stores, such as Audible, Amazon and iTunes.

We hope to recommence sales to our European customers in the near future, and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Who Is G. Norman Lippert?

G. Norman Lippert is the Author of the official James Potter Series, which chronicles the adventures of Harry Potter’s son James as he begins his education at Hogwarts, the school of Witchcraft and Wizardry created by J K Rowling in the Harry Potter novels. The James Potter Series has been read by well over a million fans so far, and has been officially recognised by J K Rowling.
