Remembering the geniuses, my uncles Tito Felix Gumban and Eli Gumban.

Unfortunately, dear uncles… I never made it to Mars 😂. But Parque Nacional de Timanfaya is said to be Mars on Earth.

A wave of nostalgia swept over me when I saw the volcanic mess, the landscapes and the beautiful shapes in the sun. Remembering the National Geographic magazine I was ‘forced’ to read so I can at least try to keep up with your brilliant minds.

And no, I still don’t memorize all the shades of colours… like you both do. Tagay mga Tito. Huwag makipagtalo kay San Pedro! Okies?
