It’s been a busy month here at Rockfield as we get into the Christmas spirit! As well as some BTS photos from this month and some photos of our merch (shamelessly 😬), we wanted to say thank you to everyone who has made this year so wonderful - the bands, artists, producers, engineers, staff members, maintenance team, visitors, online followers, family members, and of course all our animals - there are so many of you to mention! You all make Rockfield what it is, and we just want to say a huge thank you. We’ve had the best year! The new single from Deacon Blue, ‘Late ‘88’ has been BBC Radio 2’s record of the week this week! Fab news! We’ve really enjoyed listening to it here at Rockfield ☺️ Their new album, ‘The Great Western Road’ will be released on 21st March - keep an eye out for that!

The new album from PIXIES, 'The Night the Zombies Came' is out now. Produced and mixed by Tom Dalgety. Engineered by Tom Dalgety with Dave Snyder, Matt Hall and Joe Jones.

Recorded mainly at Guilford Sound in Vermont USA, with other recording at Psalm Studio in Wiltshire and with us at Rockfield. Monmouth itself inspired 'I Hear You Mary', one of the songs on the album.

Here are a couple of beautiful photos taken by Tom Oxley during their time with us, featuring Black Francis, Tom Dalgety and Joe Jones.
