Hive Live Session #02 tonight, Saturday 4 Jan 2025, with the awesome Break The Slate from Weston-super-Mare, a 2 piece band of brothers bringing you some big dirty grunge rock. We are aiming for an 8:30pm start again, but be ready a little before and hop on the stream ready for the start.

We are thoroughly enjoying rolling out the live sessions, its a mammoth task to put it all together, many many days of prep, experimenting, and heavy investment in equipment and knowledge, to bring you the best quality live stream we possibly can.

We know times aren't easy for anyone right now, and the music scene is suffering assault from all angles, so we hope to inject some new energies, new vibes, and new ways to experience live music.

It wont always be perfect, and it wont always run to plan, but all of us at Hive are dedicated to music and getting in your ear and eyeholes, and every band and artist we are hosting is equally dedicated to bring their music to you.

Nobody is earning from these, there are no ads, there are no fees, every thing you see and hear on our introductory month is being put together out of pure love and deep desire for live music to have a new platform that reaches beyond our own area of West Somerset.

We hope it builds into a regular, consistent event, so please like our page, share the posts, and spread the word about these magnificent events that we are very proud to produce alongside the marvelous artists that have committed to bringing you their music, live, to you, wherever you may be.

Undercover Hippy

Dialed the drum room in today. 12 mics on the starclassic kit, all beautifully clean signals, fed to the midas console and into Protools, with the stunning addition of 2 Slate Raven MTI touch screens for hands on control to the finest of detail. First true multi channel recording in Hive Studio has been a total and unfettered success. That room sounds awesome. Recording drums in this suite is going to be such a pleasure. Step one complete. I got me an apprentice too!!
