Arrived back here at Hep Towers in the early hours of this morning after an anniversary 10th jubilee weekend at Feel the 50s, in Venlo, Netherlands. Thank you so much to Marco Schell for inviting me to DJ for the most enthusiastic dancers on the planet. What an absolute pleasure. Despite a short spell of rain on Sunday everyone had the most amazing time. The bands were exceptional. Les Greene stealing the show by owning the stage and turning Rock n Roll up to 12. Not forgetting the quiet little, sedate after parties with Marco, Les Greene, Don Diego Trio, CC Jerome and Mark Gamsjager, getting up close and personal with fabulous old and new friends.
Let's do it all again you sinners!

I'm DJing these three heptastic Summer weekend events, kicking off this month with the fantastic Feel the 50s in Venlo, Netherlands, with the swingin' and Rockin' Newbury Retro Festival in August, swiftly followed by the Sywell Classic- Pistons & Props in September. Not forgetting the return of my own regular soiree here in South Wales "Are You Hep To The Jive" in October.

So that's a wrap, for now at least. Thanks everyone for your support over last four months, the number of dancers was the best yet today and it was great to end this season on such a high. I can't get over your amazing generousity in the tip jar either. Some people were attending for the first time, so I hope you enjoyed my little shindig as much as I do putting it on. Have a great summer and see you back in the Autumn for more getting Hep to the Jive

Discovering 1950's Rock 'n' Roll over 50 years ago, DJ Reverend Hep continued to musically explore all mid century genres, collecting shellac, vinyl, CDs and more latterly digital format music. He has been sharing that lifetimes work by DJing for Retro, Rocking, and Swinging audiences at local and National events in the UK. Although a frequent visitor to "Feel The 50's" this will be be his first appearance as a DJ in the Nederlands. Are you Hep to the Jive!
