Not the worst interaction I've had but still I made mistakes as well. I'm recording people.What was I thinking? Well I was talking about the crane operators and the people working around the crane but got tongue tied. There were others recording this crane lifting event as well with phones and cameras but it is the drone that is the problem at 200ft. Still I do need to do better as I'm not used to these sorts of accusations. Still what do you think? The site management saw my drone and I went and spoke to them afterwards and offered them the footage and they gave me an email.👍

Got told that the drone interferes with the controls of the crane. I've flown near lots of cranes so that was a surprise to hear and is not true. Someone else corrected him and said the drone was interfering with the crane driver's line of sight and he needed to know where the drone was at all times so he asked if I could keep the drone still in the air. I did not move it much but I had already landed and told him I was. Ot go back up and he said it was ok to record them. It's like people believe I would throw away my drone for that single shot. No way I would do that but I guess they don't know that? Anyway I will be releasing the video and you can judge for yourself how close I was. Still I offered the footage to the boss and he gave me his email address so I will be sending it over. Happy days I did get one complaint but it wouldn't be normal if I didn't get a complaint and apparently drones are looking through people's windows. I will be releasing that video soon. After all it's why I got the insta360 X4 for. So I can record people trying to tell me off.👍
