Back in 2021, we headed out to Utah with Matt Jones & Danny MacAskill where they surprised eight lucky riders with a dream day of activities before descending on site for the most prestigious mtb event of all… Red Bull Rampage.

From ATVs to helicopter rides over the Rampage site, there was no shortage of fun in the desert that day, and it was pretty damn fun to shoot too!

particularly for Gee Atherton, whose biggest challenge on this line would be stopping in time.

The Dig Crew had their work cut out catching Gee and his bike before they flew off the mountainside!

Choosing a favourite clip from this year was always going to prove difficult, but this one from 'Postcard from San Francisco is certainly up there!

This one was a nonstop battle, going at it until our permit for the spot ran out. No rest made it super physical for both Danny on the bike and Robbie Meade on the camera rig, but it’s these sorts of challenges that bring rider and filmer together.

You have to make sure you don't slip or mess up the shot on that 150th attempt when the trick gets pulled… and a little kook rib injury from surfing didn't help matters either.

The efforts were rewarded this time around!

It’s been a fantastic year at Peny, but none of it would be possible without the dream team behind it!

Robbie Meade - Founder & Director: When he's not behind a camera or managing Peny's day-to-day workings, you can find Robbie climbing, skating, and, recently, surfing.

Sebastian Hendry - Producer: Seb spends his time away from work playing football, golf or spending time with his daughter as she runs around trying to catch their dog - Caille.

Tom Grice - Filmmaker: When he's not filming for Peny, you'll find Tom wandering the streets with his film camera, seeking out life's more subtle moments, mountain biking, or bouldering.

Max Callan - Chief Editor: When he isn’t patching together our latest productions, Max loves gaming, but recently, his evenings have been dominated by his newfound hobby - cooking.

Lee Evans - Editor & Sound Technician: When he's not editing, you'll find Lee mountain biking or, like much of the Peny crew, trying to surf.

Isaac Wilkinson - Shooting Director & Creative Producer: Isaac was born and raised in Manchester, beginning his filmmaking career at the early age of 12, as he took to the streets with his camera and skateboard. So impressed with Isaac's work on the 'Run Up' Series last year; it's great to have him join the team.
