We have a summer job vacancy to join our Ladybird Team!

This is a part time role (hours to be confirmed depending on availability but must be able to work some weekends as we are open 7 days a week)

The right person must be confident and be comfortable serving and assisting customers. Previous experience in a customer service role would be ideal but full training will be given.

As this is a temporary summer job the role is ideal for a student but must be 18+ due to being a key holder and some periods of lone working.

A love of dogs is a MUST as we have lots of fluffy customers visitng for treats!

Today we have a very exciting update to share with you all, drumroll please...

We're over the moon to announce that £135,000 has been awarded to LEVEL Centre, from Arts Council England’s Capital Investment Programme! Thank you Council England and Department for Culture, Media and Sport

This is the news everyone here at LEVEL has been waiting for!

LEVEL Centre will benefit from a share of the £24.2million Capital Investment funding programme, to help with:
- building works
- purchase of equipment and other assets to improve access
- technological opportunities
- reducing environmental impact

Our amazing Executive and Artistic Director Kerry Andrews, who worked so hard on our application alongside the rest of the team, says:
'We extend our deepest thanks to Arts Council England for their generosity in providing £135,000 towards capital improvements for our accessible rural arts centre. This invaluable support will enable us to enhance our facilities, advance our commitment to environmental responsibility, improve accessibility, and upgrade our technology. This funding empowers us to create an even more inclusive and inspiring space for our community.'

We are so excited to start making plans for our capital improvements and can't wait to share them with you!

This Government funding is part of Arts Council England’s investment to build stronger communities throughout England via the 'Let's Create' strategy. The investment will help secure the creative future of towns, villages and communities across England, building a country filled with creative people and cultural communities.

As a registered charity, LEVEL is supported through funding and grants by various organisations and bodies, and by public donations. This support is vital in helping to continue and grow the work that we do.
