Job Advert: Labourer

AB Construction require a skilled general labourer for general site duties

You should be able to concentrate on performing your tasks and commit to safety rules.

Previous construction labouring experience for this position preferred although not essential

Driver preferably again not essential but ability to get to local sites around the Marlborough area and 15 mile radius

Essential CIS registered (can assist with application)

Responsibilities include.

Assisting skilled trades, Maintaining a tidy site,
Handle and transport materials and equipment
Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks
Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions

Requirements and skills.

Ability to meet the physical demands of the job,
Good hand-eye coordination,
Communication and teamwork skills,
Commitment to safety rules
Apprenticeship or specialisation is an asset, but not necessary

Good hourly rates of pay pending on experience. Paid weekly.
Hours: 40hrs a week. Monday to Friday. Weekend work occasionally.

We have really enjoyed this project in Wroughton, we’ve opened up the kitchen and living room to create a stunning open plan space.
With the fitting of a beautiful kitchen with a 30mm quartz worktop and a natural stone floor along with engineered oak flooring throughout the rest of the ground floor.

In just 10 weeks we have transformed this thatched house, with a beautiful single story extension. Working closely with the clients and architect (Tuttles) we have created this new amazing kitchen space.
