SATs week. There are many supportive posts today (there are every year) which, quite rightly, tell us that these tests are a culmination of 4 years’ work and are a reflection on the whole of KS2, not just yr6. Of course that’s true, but let’s be honest. The pressure of preparation for this week is felt most acutely by yr6 teachers. So, to you wonderful, unique bunch, we wish you all the best. May the week end with a big tipple of your choice and a fat slice of cake! ###

The perfect KS2/Leavers’ musical for 2024 is COMING SOON!
So, next year sees the 50th anniversary of Eurovision. But forget Eurovision…this is the 'School-O-Vision Song Contest', an equally-spectacular, musical extravaganza that you'll not want to miss!
Representing the varied groups that make up our school community, different acts compete to win the School-O-Vision crown, half a century after it was first won by legendary group, RABBLE, who are making a special guest appearance at tonight’s show! Between flamboyant musical performances and catty banter from the hosts, we also get to peek behind the scenes at the groups in their daily lives and find out how teachers, parents, premises officers, kitchen staff, infants and, of course, this year’s crop of Yr 6 leavers, all contribute to school life in their own unique and hilarious ways!

Believe it or not, we ordered our Nativity play back in September! We couldn't wait to look ahead to what we know will be another superb production in December from our EYFS and KS1 children.
And just to show the early bird really does get the worm, Edgy Productions entered us into a competition and we won these Pritt Sticks!! Definitely worth their weight in gold for us 🤣
