How important do you find documenting your recording sessions? 🎥

Some artists are incredibly secretive when it comes to the studio; others love to involve their fans in the whole process.

Whether for public release, the artists own use or just something nice to look back on, videos documenting bands and artists studio sessions are becoming increasingly popular, both at Electric Bear and in studios worldwide with major artists and producers, with the likes of YouTube providing and extra revenue stream.

But does video documenting in the studio somehow spoil the mystique of the recording process?

Will we ever reach a point where a band, artist or producer's studio videos are becoming more relevant than the music itself?

Or is it simply a symptom of the ever-changing landscape of commercial music production?
