There's new a version of Warhammer 40K out, and hosts Dom & Tom got together to try it out last night. They also took the chance to chat about possibilities for the future and maybe a new edition of RDwG. The thinking is to explore the possibility of making the set-up a collective rather than just a double-act - hopefully meaning more content overall while not necessarily requiring so much commitment from any particular individual. So, if you're someone of faith who is also into games that involve dice-rolling (whether wargames, TTRPG, or boardgames), and who might like to help contribute to conversations about how those things overlap, then give us a shout!

Okay, so it's the last Friday in the month. That means we should have an episode out today. Alas, we haven't. The reality is that co-hosts Tom & Dom are both somewhat like these two models and not at 100% for a variety of reasons. That means no recording has been possible - a prime example of rolling 1s real life! We're really sorry about this, but rest assured we will be back and looking to bring more reflections on faith and tabletop gaming as soon as possible. In the meantime, we pray your rolls are doing better than ours currently!

This month we explore the fact that tabletop games, even wargames, aren't just about who wins and who loses. They can be about the fun of simply rolling dice, and about telling stories. This latter point in particular leads to some reflecting on how storytelling matters not just on the tabletop but in life and faith too.

Co-host, , had great fun at today, playing in the 'Downfall of Icarus II' narrative event. Despite losing 3 of his 4 games he enjoyed spending his Sunday off with fellow hobbyists rolling dice, having fun, and telling a story.

Episode 1 is in the can! Yes, production is complete on our introductory episode. There's still one or two things to take care of, but we're on schedule for release on Friday 28th January.
