Welcome to NATCHAT, I'm a British female voice-over artist and podcast consultant, here to elevate your voice with mine. I have two decades of experience working in audio, first as a radio presenter and now as a voiceover artist and podcast consultant. I specialise in commercials for radio and TV along with corporate explainers and elearning. My style from a radio background is conversational and

I spent 5 years getting up at the crack of dawn as the co-host of Heart Breakfast across the Home Counties and in May 2020 I made my Netflix debut as the voice of History 101, a docuseries of historical firsts and social movements. Clients include Coca-Cola, United Nations, Mercedes, Bose, Asda, Audible, Linked In More Than, LinkedIn, Shell, Cap Gemini, MetLife, Santander, NHS, Dermologica. Previous TV credits include Sky TV's 'Wayne Rooney's Street Striker' and Ian Wright's Football Behind Bars, as well as documentaries for BBC 3 and Discovery. I host The Fertility Podcast, which launched in 2015 is the UK's first and longest-running podcast discussing the many issues people have to endure when struggling to conceive. I also host Health Unwrapped, for Bioglan Supplements which is currently in its third series. I have a particular interest in creating content for the Healthcare sector. Other clients include Surrogacy UK, Ovusense, Surrogacy UK, The Agora Clinic, HFEA, The Fertility Show and Fertility Fest. I also host events both live and virtually from charity dinners to fashion shows, webinars to panel discussions.

On Friday I popped on my LI that I was struggling with cold hands and it had got worse. I then discovered who had so much useful info plus a short test I completed to say I prob have Raynaud’s ( still to see the GP )

If this is you - did you know it’s Raynaud’s Awareness Month and I’m curious to see how many more of my pals are dealing with this, as apparently it’s 1 in 6 - and over 10 million of us in the UK 🥶

So many people got back to me with lots of useful tips for keeping my hands warm!!

That evening my lovey Ma presented me with two pairs of which I’ve been wearing since and they’ve made such a difference so I’m sharing the ❤️ here and welcome any other gloves tips 🙌🙌

Lovely to see the wonderful last night and show her a favourite haunt, the gem that is

Gina was one of the first people I met as a voiceover when I decided to attend my first ever VOX over a decade ago, and on arrival I went and said hello and she made me feel so welcome.

Several years later Gina gave me a tour 😉 of her voiceover booth developed in her cupboard in Battersea, when I was deciding to make the bold move to build my voiceover booth.

We’ve not seen a each other for years but when I heard she was in town for I crashed her drinks with her Bauer pals and had a good old chinwag.

That voice! You get reminded of why she’s such a VO legend!

Voiceover pals are special and it’s so fab to catch up.

Also giving a spot on the grid here for P in full flow earlier this week, doing a VO job if his own, in the booth I met after seeing Gina’s set up 🎙️🎧💛💛

She has been on the most incredible transformation journey and works so he’s every day to inspire women in their 50’s that they too can make things happen ❤️

I’ve spent the last decade raising awareness of family building challenges and yesterday spoke for the second year running the Gender Summit in Basel.

The heavy snow tired it’s best to defeat me and ‘Le Boot’ but failed.

Being on a stage in Switzerland talking about the impact this makes on people’s lives on the day releases its movie ‘Joy’ sharing the story of IVF made me so proud 🙌

And I got to see the Northern Lights! I think…

Fed up already of this boot!
Managed to walk around earlier which was brilliant ( it’s on tmw too 🙌 - you should go ) but foot was throbbing by the end, despite me taking it slow and having a glass of vino in the way around!

Went for dinner ❤️ had a pint….
Was in bed by 7.30😂😂

This time last week I was heading to see Phoenix perform as Chip in his first proper role in musical theatre. He’d been rehearsing with Junior Stage 80 since May and LOVED IT! He never grumbled and through himself into the whole process.

I’d always thought I’d would have wanted to be in musical theatre but over the years when I’ve tried improv / acting workshops I’ve always been so self conscious ( I know that might surprise you ) so haven’t pursued that. The performance element of breakfast radio was enough for me 😜

But Phoenix was in his element and still hasn’t stopped singing the songs from the show and sharing funny anecdotes from things that happened with the cast.

The last few weeks in the run up to the show were full on, with our work and Phoenix’s schedule - so much so I turned up at his tutor 2 hours early this evening as I’d moved it around the last few weeks and then forgotten what our actual time was!!

I’ve just signed P up with a Spotlight profile having been asked by his agent and his credit list running from 2019 is impressive. The kid is a wonder and I am in awe of his confidence… hopefully we can nurture it wisely and his love of the arts will go from strength to strength 🙏

Popping this here - half way through National Fertility Awareness Week.. 4 events completed - 2 in person 2 virtual, 3 more to go. More 📸 to come

Small steps are literally being taken but change is happening and I’m feeling very proud right now - from my couch as I rest up ( just a fractured metatarsal nothing serious )

Everyday this week ‘we’ are talking to workplaces about why it is so hard for people who are dealing with family building challenges. Explaining the many complexities this important issue presents to someone’s working life…
That it’s a huge mental health issue for so many people in a lot of different ways.

It’s incredible rewarding, incredibly hard work but seeing the impact we’re having makes any fractured bones worth it 😉🙏

1 more day of school for this one before holiday.
He’s so frazzled I’m asking to do everything numerous times.. more than normal.

This was this morning - after we’d left for school and realised he’d not cleaned his teeth, which I might have let go but he didn’t do it last night either - yuk!

We reversed back up the road and he timed himself to do the job 🤣

Time for a holiday me thinks!
Out of office will be on very soon ✈️✈️✈️

Hiya, I’m Natalie Silverman an award winning British female voice over artist, based in Manchester. My voice is husky and warm and I go for the more natural and conversational approach with my style. I spent most of the last two decades presenting for the UK’s leading commercial radio station, Global however since 2012 my voiceover work got more serious as I set up a home studio. I do a lot of commercial, corporate and e-learning work and have more recently started voicing documentaries, with my first series about to air on Netflix.

As well as my voiceover work, I host The Fertility Podcast www.thefertilitypodcast.com which has over 270 episodes and has had almost half a million downloads in over 100 countries. It aims to educate and empower anyone looking to learn more about their fertility, by talking about the range of issues affecting our family making plans. We speak to experts as well as people sharing their struggles and it’s something I’m extremely proud of and has opened up a whole community of people who I now work with, both in terms of podcasting, voiceover and hosting events.
