We’re delighted to welcome Svaneborg Kardyb as our first curators, for the launch of the Our World: Guest Mix playlist.

The Danish duo have selected seven tracks each, including their Gondwana favourites for the ultimate winter accompaniment. Featuring Daniel Norgren, Jeff Parker, Trentemøller, Floating Points and Caoilfhionn Rose.

“When autumn ends and winter is drawing in, we always feel as though it shapes our taste in music. Looking outside, there is a feeling of stillness and the surroundings going into hibernation mode. It’s perfect for making tea and coffee; and dive deep into ambient, folky and beautiful melodies. Much of the music on this list are songs we’ve been moved by recently.”

This year has been filled with standout releases. We began with Vega Trails, ‘Sierra Tracks’, a rich chamber-jazz album inspired by Milo Fitzpatrick’s relocation to the Sierra de Guadarrama mountains. Featuring saxophonist Jordan Smart, this album blends expansive melodies with deep emotional resonance.

We then digitally released Caoilfhionn Rose ‘Constellation Sessions (Live at Space Studios, Manchester)’, capturing a breathtaking live performance from her ‘Constellation’ album.

Phi-Psonics’ album ‘Expanding to One’ emerged from a live residency at Healing Force of the Universe in Pasadena; a communal, improvisational project that broadened their sound and deepened their musical vision.

Our newest signing Ambre Ciel released her debut album ‘still, there is the sea’, a delicate and intimate collection of songs in English and French, built around piano, refined arrangements and her ethereal voice.

Next came Chip Wickham’s ‘The Eternal Now’, co-produced by Matthew Halsall, featuring Luke Flowers, Sneaky and PEACH. It’s rhythmically driven and forward-thinking, a meditation on creativity and freedom.

Ancient Infinity Orchestra followed with ‘It’s Always About Love’. With their vibrant second album, the ensemble continues to celebrate communal music-making with the desire to spread unity and love.

We closed the year by releasing Matthew Halsall’s ‘Bright Sparkling Light’ EP digitally for the first time, three luminous pieces originally released on vinyl.

We’d like to thank everyone that brought this music to life and the people who supported these releases. We look forward to bringing you more in 2026.

As the year draws to a close, we’re reflecting on a wonderful year of live music for Gondwana Records and our artists; across events, shows, listening parties, live sessions, festivals, and more. A huge thank you to all the fans, venues, promoters, partners, and the Gondwana Records roster who brought these moments to life.

In 2025, Gondwana Records Presents continued across Europe, with events in Berlin, Prague, Brighton, Brussels, and London, alongside a fourth edition in Hamburg. We’re looking forward to returning to the Elbphilharmonie in 2026 for a fifth time, with tickets available now.

Many of the Gondwana Records family took their new albums on the road in 2025. hania rani toured her latest studio album ‘Ghosts’ worldwide, with highlights including Japan, the Sydney Opera House, and the Barbican. Phi-Psonics marked the release of ‘Expanding To One’ with a series of live, improvised performances rooted in collaboration and community. Following the release of ‘Superkilen’, Svaneborg Kardyb toured extensively throughout 2025. Vega Trails took ‘Sierra Tracks’ on the road, while Chip Wickham toured ‘The Eternal Now’, including a special run of shows in Japan and Sweden. Ambre Ciel performed ‘still, there is the sea’ playing many places for the first time, including her London debut and shows with a string quartet. Ancient Infinity Orchestra shared uplifting performances featuring music from ‘It’s Always About Love’, and Jasmine Myra offered a glimpse of new music at special live events, including dates in China.

Thank you to everyone who joined us this year, we can’t wait to see what’s next.

Looking back on an incredible night of music, captured at last month’s Gondwana Records Presents at Queen Elizabeth Hall, Southbank Centre.

We’re excited to share that two more Gondwana Records Presents events are on the horizon in Belgium and Germany. First up, this Friday we bring our regular label night to Flagey, Brussels, with performances from Jasmine Myra, Ancient Infinity Orchestra and Vega Trails. Then, in 2026, we return to Hamburg to celebrate the fifth anniversary of Gondwana Presents at the Elbphilharmonie, featuring Chip Wickham, Ambre Ciel and Ancient Infinity Orchestra.

Both events promise unforgettable moments and another opportunity to experience multiple Gondwana Records artists on one bill.
