CMI Music Group is a music production company based in both Manchester UK at the company’s studio ‘The Voodoo Suite’ in the city and in the US.

The company is responsible for many aspects in the music industry including, writing, recording, mixing, production, film scores, composition, session musicians, soundscaping, tutorials and voice over work. Its a one stop shop for the music business that also includes CMI: Media a video dept.

Headed by Producer Alexander Johnston and brother JV Johnston along with their writing and musical team, the company has worked with such artists Robbie Williams, Soul legend Alexander O’Neal, Damon Albarn, CASisDEAD, James Newman, Girls Aloud, Elbow, ground breaking band Mamma Freedom, Ipad 24 piece orchestral score and main theme tune for 'The Gift' and ‘Owls Don’t Growl’ and music being used by Honda, Samsung and many more.
