Want a nice simple Arabic show that's easy to follow? I recommend this animation series. It's very action orientated so the dialogue has a lot of context that makes it easier to understand. Perfect for little ones (and big ones learning too)! Listen a few times to get the most out of it.

TODAY'S HOT TIP for learning the names of the furniture around the house. Look at a doll's house 🤓
Start by naming the rooms in Arabic: ghurfat al juloos - sitting room, ghurfat al nawm - bedroom. MaTbakh - kitchen, Hammaam - bathroom., Take out all the furniture (ATHAATH). Then put them back naming each piece. If you don't own a doll's house, just take a trip around your own house; firstly name the rooms and then go round naming the furniture 😜
Tip No. 2 - Another fun idea to learn the vocab around the house is to cut out furniture from a home catalogue such as Next. Stick them on a sheet, and then label or talk about them in Arabic 😄

On Monday we learnt the word 'MiqaS' with Zakaria. Now here's a fun way to remember it!

Isn't it amazing how quick and easy kids pick up languages?

As adults, when we get order it's a lot harder to learn languages yet alone remember where we had placed our keys😣😅. .
However, children's brain are like sponges, soaking up huge amounts of information from their environment. They absorb everything around them, effortlessly, continuously and indiscriminately. .
Incorporating Arabic into your child's daily life should be as easy as playing a game of rock - paper- scissors.

Even if it's a few Arabic words here and there being taught, you will be astonished as to how much your child can retain! And remember, a book read to your child daily can make a world of difference📚! !
