Nero the man behind the myth
Nero: the man behind the myth British Museum is now open!
THE GREAT FIRE OF ROME! An important moment in Rome’s history that would send ripples through Emperor Nero’s reign.
As part of the development for our large-scale digital media installation at the British Museum, we worked in collaboration with the museum team and Lombaert studio to craft a selection of illustrated scenes that helped depict Rome as it would have been during Emperor Nero’s reign. We really enjoyed the process of developing a unique visual narrative to depict the dramatic events of the Fire of Rome.

Pembroke Castle Preview
Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Hapus!
…which, for those of you who don’t speak Welsh, means “Happy St. David’s Day”.
And, to celebrate the Principality’s national day, we thought we’d offer you a sneak preview of our online promotional film for Pembroke Castle (with the kind permission of the Castle Trust).
Shot with the latest drone and mobile camera technology from our friends at Skycamwales, this is a short companion piece to the full show, which also features bespoke illustrations, the voice of a Welsh Rugby legend, and a cameo from a local primary school… but if you want to see that, you’ll have to head down to the castle itself this Spring.

11th - RSC Royal Shakespeare: The Play’s the Thing
We had a lot of fun this year producing AV and interactive multimedia installations for the Royal Shakespeare Company’s first permanent exhibition, “The Plays the Thing”.
We collaborated with The Hub, Kossmann dejong, Darius Wilson Associates, and DJ Willrich and had a great time doing so! It seems the critics were quite sweet on our work too! See what they had to say… http://ow.ly/adJy307kEuR

10th - Pearse’s Cottage and Connemara Centre
This year we have been collaborating with bright3d on an exciting project for Pearse’s Cottage and the Connemara Centre in Ros Muc, Ireland.
From 1903 until his death in 1916, Patrick Pearse, who came to Ros Muc as an examiner for Conradh na Gaeilge, spent many summers in the cottage he had made into his home, he used it as an educational centre for Dublin schoolchildren, and as a sanctuary for his own writing and political planning.
Visitors will learn about Pearse and his legacy, in addition to Connemara’s rich and vibrant Gaeltacht culture and language.

9th - Fire! Fire!
Earlier this year we got to mark the 350th anniversary of the Great Fire of London with the "Fire! Fire!" exhibition at the Museum of London.
Working with designers Skellon Studio, we produced a large-scale projected animation for the "City Ablaze" wall - a two-projector panoramic view of the fire devastating the city, using a range of advanced techniques to recreate the chaotic patterns of the flames.
Elsewhere in the gallery, inside a recreation of the infamous bakery on Pudding Lane, we used projection mapping to show an animation of the spread of the blaze across the city, projected onto a giant loaf of bread!

We love Christmas but we can’t cope with the cold weather today, so instead we are thinking back to summertime. Brazil 2014 Revisited is the first in a series of temporary exhibitions that will be held in Zurich’s FIFA World Football Museum.
We created all the audio-visual and multimedia content, working with designers Ralph Appelbaum Associates and the FIFA World Football Museum curatorial team to make a strong opening chapter for the series.

Next year sees our project with the House of European history open, we have been privileged to work alongside exhibition designers Acciona Producciones y Diseño and Tamschick, as well as the fantastic teams at Meyvaert from Belgium, Nous from Austria and DJW from Hampshire.
The main aim of the exhibition is to provide visitors with an opportunity to learn about European history of the 20th Century and the history of European integration, as viewed from a broad historical perspective.
Recognising the linguistic diversity of Europe, all the content will be produced in the 24 languages of the European Union. Keep up to date with this and other projects here http://www.centrescreen.co.uk/

4th - Dunfermline
Earlier this year, as part of our ongoing work with Fife Libraries & Museums for Dunfermline Carnegie Library & Galleries, Jon (our director of photography), had a great time getting stuck in capturing footage of various historic buildings and iconic landmarks in Dunfermline. The footage shows its rich heritage in transport and industry, its contributions to the world wars, the home life of the people of Dunfermline and Royal Dunfermline.
We also filmed with local contributors to the museum such as former weavers, miners and Provost, Jim Leishman. We look forward to sharing this project with you when it is completed next year!

2nd - Mail Rail
2nd - Mail Rail
This year we’ve been hard at work for The Postal Museum's new exhibition: Mail Rail, which was an underground railway network, running beneath the streets of London between 1927 and 2003.
The system carried mail between Paddington and Whitechapel, and at its peak it transported 4 million letters a day. I’m sure Santa will be eagerly awaiting the opening next year- as are we: stay posted with all things Mail Rail at our website!
