It's that time of the (bi)month again, we're back in the bar on Thursday with a selection of lovely residents dropping lovely selections from 6pm thru til 2am. , , .harris and on the tunes!
Kicking things off at 6 is teepee h, a DJ and 1/2 of Manchester-based promotion duo .presents . He also heads up the 'Between Stillness' show here on steam, focused on moving through the tempos and exploring a wide variety of electronic sub genres. Expect similar vibes from the off!
Following on at 8pm is , who hosts the MAMELA show on steam on a Sunday afternoon. Muziiswaks draws inspiration from all corners of the globe, expect everything from the soulful sounds of amapiano or heavy hitting GQOM to the groovy dance beats of Batida and Kuduro.
Next up on the 10pm til midnight is .harris , host of the Rhythmic Resonance show. After establishing herself on the north-east party scene, Abby recently relocated to Manchester and has quickly caught attention with her energetic, deep and varied sets.
And finally, closing things out from midnight til 2am is Jess Rose! A creator of , curated to centre marginalised people in the UK and Brazil, Jess has played the likes of São Paulo carnival and MIF and always brings a plethora of high energy sounds. Expect everything from classic UK dance to latin and afro influenced flows and percs.
Free entry all night as usual, good vibes and good tunes. Also a heads up that our good pals are running tunes in the downstairs club the same night. Plenty of steam residents to be found all over the soup building all night, you better catch them all.
