The issue with this property was two fold as a Listed building so nothing allowed to be visible on the property also the trees surrounding the property were pretty intense. The area was only fed by old copper lines from BT with max speeds of 2mbs and this was not going to work for this couple who ran an online Buisness so Starlink was the only option as mobile internet was impossible also. The only location was at the edge of the property away from the house and in the gap between some trees, so using a concrete slab that was sunk into the ground we installed a patio mount along with our own pole adapter. We decided to install a catenary wire instead of burying the cable as not easy to to dig due to tree roots etc, fiexed to a tree and back over to the house with a cable made on site. The cable was fed into the office and router configured and dish aligned with speeds coming in at over 240mbs. The couple now can move in knowing that they will have high speed internet and carry on their work without any glitches. A very successfully installed system with amazing results for such a tricky spot showing how Starlink can really get to those hard to reach places that have no internet. Starlink Installation Clitheroe, Space Internet Solutions STARLINK to cover a dairy farm carried out by Andy and Ethan on the outskirts of Clitheroe, to upgrade the farm to some good coverage in 2 properties and the whole exterior of the sheds so some wireless security could be installed. Customer initially had a BT line coming in which was antiquated and running a 2mbs connection into 3 separate locations costing over £100.00 a month but nothing good enough to run cameras and all the tech that they had on their Dairy Farm. Customer bit the Starlink bullet and opted for a full property coverage of high speed internet inside and out. Starlink dish was fitted up on the Chimney of the first property using a cradle and lashing kit with a 2 inch alloy mast allowing secure connection to the dish using our Click mount, cable was routed into the office and router configured with speeds typical above 240mbs. Second part of install was one wireless bridge from mast on roof over about 300 meters to the dairy and another one from corner of main house over 250 meters to secondary farm house. All 3 locations had 6 Deco Mesh nodes installed all on the same seamless network when moving around. We then fitted 2 outdoor access points one on the main building pointing at the cow sheds so cameras can be added, the second access point was from the dairy room and covered the perimeter again for cameras. The whole property is covered internally and externally in WiFi coverage with fantastic speeds all round, customer will save on the 3 lines now which are to be cancelled. Starlink Mini Installation Leigh, Space Internet Solutions. Here is a new one for us an installation of Starlink on a Narrowboat in Leigh, Lancashire carried out by Andy and Ethan for a couple that worked and lived on their Narrowboat but just couldn’t live with the constant drop outs via mobile internet so had used Starlink Mini for a month and got in touch with us to make the installation a bit more permanent. Fitted the Starlink into a metal case with protective Perspex screen which has no impact on the performance but will protect from hail or accidental damage, the mount is has magnetic feet that are embedded into rubber so no scratching of paintwork, the magnets are Neodynium and can’t be pulled off without some serious force.
