This time last year, I was in Cairo Egypt, my dear friend had left me the previous day to a country in Europe, I became so lonely, I started counting days to my departure, 2 days seemed like 2 years, because my flight was on the 29th.

I decided to explore the city on my own like we used to do when we were together but I couldn't, everything became boring despite the busy and bustling city life of Cairo and the night life.

How did we meet?
I was at the airport in Lagos, my flight had been delayed, she was sitting at one wing of the departure lounge, when I saw her, something in me told me she was nice and we could be friends, I was very cautious but I still walked up to her, I don't remember how the conversation started but we connected instantly and started taking photos and then I realised we were going to the same destination.
In a couple of hours, strangers turned sister 😄

Moral: sometimes you just have to follow your instincts, drop your fears and explore, you won't have a story unless you've tried.

As the winter months slowly faded into memory, I couldn't help but reflect on the challenges my skin faced during those colder days. The dry, biting air seemed relentless, leaving my skin parched and prone to irritation. From flakiness to spoting, it felt like a constant battle just to maintain some semblance of balance.

Fortunately, spring is here, I find myself filled with renewed hope and excitement. The days of heavy moisturizers are behind me, replaced by the gentle caress of warmer breezes and the promise of rejuvenation.

To anyone out there still struggling with any challenges of life, I urge you to hold on just a little longer. Change is on the horizon, and with it comes the opportunity for renewal and growth. Embrace the transition, for brighter days are ahead. Your hope isn't lost. 💪
