SO excited to be bringing our ‘particular set of skills’ to in Hale this very Saturday.

First public gig we’ve had the chance to say a firm ‘Yes!’ to, so it would be lovely to have you down there.

It was lovely to have your company at my last public solo outing! The very same invitation applies to the above slew of dates at the northern quarter’s premier Guinness lounge, CornerBoy.

Expect Edgarised versions of classic songs that make you go ‘huh?’ and down the remainder of your drinks in one defiant gulp. Free entry and, as always, no refunds (except in exceptional circumstances).

Turns out that ‘Shakespeare looking pub’ next to Doghouse where I’m about to take to perform is actually called ‘The Shakespeare’ so colour me accidentally correct.

Do be aware that it’s closed for refurb til November though, so my advice would be to join me at the Brewhouse Hotel’s downstairs drinking establishment for some chewy covers for the next few hours. “If all the world’s a stage then let the band play on, Josephine.”

RAIN STOPS PLAY!! I’m sorry to have to tell you that my gig today at the Sale site has been postponed due to inclement weather. BUT you can still catch me tonight at Doghouse Manchester (the BrewDog Hotel) from 6pm. Thankfully an indoor gig!

Thursday night I’m exercising my right to demand requests and then refuse to play them due to lack of preparation at CornerBoy in the northern quarter. 9 til 12 and purportedly the best Guinness in Manchester…

Fri and Sat I’m on private things so that’s none of your beeswax. But…

Sunday I’ll be taking to the outdoor stage at the relocated Stutter and Twitch on Stanley Square in Sale for an easygoing mix of sunny songs and maybe a couple originals. Hands down the best oat latte in the GM area, you can quote me on that. On from 2 til 4 and THEN…

A rare appearance at the Doghouse (BrewDog Hotel near Primark/that Shakespeare looking pub) from 6 til 9, usual request rules apply* Nice range of in house and guest ales to accompany the Edgarian sounds.

Praise makes me uncomfortable - thinking about posting that praise online makes me feel pretty disgusting.

However, I realise now that it’s a necessary part of me getting to do the job that I love so much, so here’s a few bits that have made me smile and feel very proud indeed.
