I didn’t get any more shots of this Stingray as I was deep in conversation with the owner, however I can assure you it sounded extremely intoxicating, smelt great, old great, old and most of all looked super cool. “Small” block 5L V8 if I remember correctly. Cool owner too, top taste in music 🤘That’s the best thing about cars, meeting the owners, chatting cars and in this case 👌😎

This is the exact reason for joining this group. I was waiting for this shot, or more shots of Egham Ferrari from the 80s & 90s. It holds an important place in my life… I had relatives in Ascot and being born in 1980, as a kid in the 80s & 90s I begged my Dad to take me there when visiting the relatives.

Although really idolising Ferraris I was scared to go inside as I knew we had no intention of buying one, which meant my Dad almost literally had to drag me in. The sales people were nice, not what I expected. And I was in absolute heaven.

Those visits left a huge impact on me, and at age 39 after building up a hobby and selling it, I purchased my very own 7,068 mile 5-stud Rosso Corsa over crema with black dash Testarossa. Put 2,000 miles on it, sold it and bought an F430. Sold that so Ferrari-less at the moment but I realised my heart is all about the 80s & 90s . This place is the main reason why.

Saw this beast racing yesterday. Apparently it was originally a 1982 G-series narrowbody that suffered a crash, then the owner made it into a 1974 #RSR. It sounded phenomenal! 😎👌#Porsche #Porsche911
