What a year! As we turn off the video screens and log off the computers for the last time in 2022, we just want to say a big thankyou to our clients, partners, suppliers and friends who have contributed to such a successful 2022. We couldn't of done it without you!

Throwback Thursday!

September saw us fly to Copenhagen to support our friends at to support their client; People Activation as their Barco S3 / Event Master Op.

Responsible for both main & back up PPT, VT, Slide, iPad Control via Apple TV & Remote Presenter feeds.

Content went out to two screen destinations - one to an LED wall and a camera mix and the other into Microsoft Teams for remote presenters.

Our recent project saw us working with Joel Armsden from JMA Events LTD As we created a fully custom event page for our client Calrec Audio to announce the launch of their new broadcast audio console, Argo.

The website gave Calrec's attendees an easy-to-use experience ensuring little to no viewer drop off.
Alongside high-quality customer analytics that had the ability to track and send viewership times directly to our client maximising their understanding of the success of the event.

Throwback Thursday to the tremendous festival season we had this year!

Both professionally and personally the Real Time Broadcast team have had lots to celebrate with a busy but rewarding festival season.

The standout achievement being; providing support for the main stage at Creamfields north, by looking after:

2x linked Barco E2s, Barco Ec-210 Controller, Lightware 24x24 HDMI matrix, A Blackmagic 20x20 Video hub and 24 way SDI stage racerI as well as 2 Hyperdeck Recorders and a 24 port network switch at Front of house.

and finally, that was all distributed over 10x OpticalCon quad fibres and 2x 12 way ST single mode tactical fibres!

Great to be at Old Trafford again for an MUFC Women's team event, cutting cameras from their Trafford Suite to an online audience.

Throughout the day we ran a mixture of presentations and VT's, as well as panel discussion, utilising vMix call to enable several remote speakers to dial in.

Growth is key… we know that to be able to stay ahead of the curve, investing in the latest event technologies is essential.

As our projects move from being online only to a hybrid or fully in person model, we realised that we could improve our workflows and increase versatility when running content to screens or to an online audience. This has led us to purchasing a Blackmagic Production Studio 4k Switcher & a 4k Hyperdeck Recorder complete with 2tb of hard drive space.

Last week we were on site again cutting between 3 cameras in the live space and 6 remote speakers virtually via VMIX call.

Our Hybrid services are a complete Broadcast level solution. Supporting you in capturing and streaming out your event and then bringing remote presenters and audience members back, in a seamless and effective way!

Last week we were in full action again supporting another Virtual Approval job this time for the British council.

The two day stream saw one of the VA Technical producers join us in the studio to deliver a global stream using our full offering of technical support.

Not only did this show see us bring over 20 speakers from 13 different countries, but we also helped support and display British sign language interpreters, 3 different spoken languages and live subtitling ensuring it was fully accessible to all.

Last week we had the absolute pleasure of supporting our friends over at Virtual Approval & Branchout productions with the delivery of one of their large 4 day virtual events.

We collaborated with their team over Unity Comms and supported the event via Zoom with Vmix and PowerPoint playback.

They also sent over some really great feedback!

Look forward to working with them all again in the coming months!

We are open for business! - Well... "Officially" as you all know we have been open for over a year now but now we have an official office! Based in the heart of Manchester, with high-speed dedicated internet up and down, two full VMIX control desks, storage and a fully stocked mini fridge, we finally have a home to call our own. This property will allow us to increase our ability to run remote broadcasts across the globe as well as the space to store our ever growing live production equipment.

With several events already in the diary for the new year, we can't wait to share more about what we get up to in the new studio. Additionally, if anyone knows a custom neon sign maker we have some wall space we'd love to hang something on!

The Website Is Live! After months of development in the background, discussions about every possible detail and countless hours spent trying to fix 1 tiny bug. I have always loved the challenge of the outdoors, whether that's climbing at Stanage edge in the peak district or hiking the many trails of Snowdonia. After each adventure I'm craving the next one!

Which is why it was such a pleasure to support the outdoor learning association with their recent conference.

They are the leading professional UK body for individuals and organisations using activities and experiences in the outdoors, for learning, increased health and wellbeing and environmental awareness.

Aside from providing our full support for what they do we delivered our full Hybrid solution. That includes Audio & Video mixing, Camera and VMIX Machine hire and operation and full recording and post-production editing.

The conference was a resounding success, and we look forward to working with them again in the future.

This was once again proven as we delivered the 2021 Autodesk University Conference. Providing a team of 4 technicians over 2 VMIX systems. With both Live and Pre-recorded content to a global audience.

The event was a huge success and we look forward to continuing our support for outstanding events like this.

“We had total confidence in you!" - It's nice when we get to talk about a job and share our success! A few weeks ago we supported L'Oréal at their Klub boutique salon to showcase a new range of their hair and beauty products.

We provided a full VMix Setup, Cameras, Lighting and multiple wireless Microphones. Another Job Well Done!
