🎙️ 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 - 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐡 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐦𝐞𝐬-𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 🎙️

Josh Holmes-Bright is one of the presenters who has been with the station since the very beginning! He joined us aged 16, but has been presenting on the radio since the age of 13!

In his time with us, Josh has also undertaken a management role here, and has been recognised at the Community Radio Awards with Gold in ‘Young Person of the Year’ and Silver in ‘Volunteer of the Year’.

Josh still presents shows at Caroline Coastal, and can be heard on Wednesday Brunch (10am-2pm) and Friday Nights (8-10pm).

An honour to be recognised again at the Community Radio Awards this year, receiving the Silver award for Volunteer of the Year. It wouldn’t be possible, of course, without the great team at Caroline Coastal, so thanks to the whole crew! Lucky for them, I didn’t get Gold this year, so they won’t have to hear me go on about it (much!). Cheers all 🍾

The veteran radio DJ signs off his final episode of BBC Radio 2’s Sounds of the 70s at 5 pm, then Radio Caroline airs a very personal 20-minute broadcast by Johnnie, in which he shares many memories of his time with Radio Caroline, the station where his radio career really began in 1966, after a brief stint on Radio England.
