Evening Standard Theatre Awards 2016

November 13th was time again for the Evening Standard Theatre Awards. Working with Shorty Productions, JSCGI created all the category graphics for this years event. Working closely with the set design we created clouds that were "dropped in" as though on pulleys at the Old Vic. This matched in with the proscenium that surrounded the stage. Using a very short throw lens we were able to project the image to disappear behind the proscenium. [ 25 more words ]

The Fashion Awards 2016

Back in July, JSCGI was asked to consider putting together a team to create all the award imagery for this year's Fashion Awards at The Royal Albert Hall. Working for INCA and Justine Catterall we started to carefully consider the right mix of talent we might need. This week The Edge Picture Company were in Las Vegas at the 58Th New York Festivals International TV & Film Awards. The Edge picked up Production Company of the Year and several other awards. Two golds were won for Network Rails Life Saving Rules campaign that JSCGI created the 3D animation for. The first gold was in the Film and Video - Industrial Productions competition winning the Internal Use category. [ 59 more words. ]

JSCGI is proud to have worked on the Life Saving Rules campaign for Network Rail which scooped four awards at this years EVCOM Awards (formally IVCA Awards) including the prestigious Grand Prix Award. On the evening the films produced by The Edge Picture Company were highly commended in the Regular Communication category, winning a Gold Award for Best Script, Silver Award in the Health and Safety category as well as a Silver Award for Animation, VFX and Graphics which JSCGI created and was composited by Martin Workman.
