Introducing Kelvin At KillaTapes as the new host of the weekly Killa Tapes Hip Hop Show
Yo, it's Craig here, I run the Killa Tapes platform, and some of you know me, some of you don't. I never write posts on here in first person, but as I'm taking a step back from hosting the weekly Killa Tapes show every Thursday and handing it over to Kelvin Staples (previously of the BSGMT Show), I thought I'd make a personal post to sign off with.
I have hosted the Thursday Killa Tapes show for nearly four years, and although I love it, and will miss it, I need to step aside and hand it over to someone else so that I can focus on the other parts of Killa Tapes that generate income and make this thing progress into a fully fledged media company for the artists that we showcase. From the magazine, to the events and record label, Killa Tapes has developed into something quite cool, and one day I envisage that it will be like the MTV of UKHH, or something along those lines, with various forms of media, becoming a really dope space for rappers, DJs and Hip Hop heads in the underground scene. But for that, I need to delegate out some of the parts of Killa Tapes, scale it all out to other people, and the start of that process is to remove myself from the equation and get others to do shows.
