The lady in the picture below is Pearl Amenu, 44yrs old, married with 4 children.
Pearl was diagnosed with Brain Tumor and had to undergo surgery at the University of Ghana Medical Centre. Unfortunately a few weeks after the surgery was done, Pearl started having severe headache accompanied by seizures.
Pearl had to be admitted at the hospital each time these seizures occur until recently, Doctors advised for her to undergo a 2nd surgery.
Funding for this surgery, which sums up to about 80,000ghc has been a problem for Pearl and her husband. Intermittent seizures that require Pearl to be on admission at the hospital has also become heddle as they family are unable to foot these bills coupled with getting Pearl's medications which is equally very expensive.
Pearl and her husband, Foster Ananga, who are both teachers live at Juapong, North Tongu district, in the Volta Region of Ghana 🇬đź‡. Commuting to and fro, for Pearl's medical examination has not been an easy task.
At this point, the hopes of Pearl and her husband to fund for this 2nd surgery are gradually getting crashed.
