Ok - So what can I say about last night! I was seriously disco-damaged by 10.30pm, on what felt like the world's longest train journey home.... BUT GOD, how good was Insomniacz, Like it's 1999 & Trancemitta Present 'The 25th Birthday'.???????????????????
I mean the event was amazing, the people just as you would expect, the venue messed with my head in the best of ways! Seeing people's faces when they spotted myself, Clara Doyle Lee Connor and James Valentine DJing in the ladies' loos was priceless.
Even today, recording my set was a breeze as was still buzzing from last night - One I won't forget in a hurry. Tommy Muir thank you so much for having me play for your amazing event. Loved every second.
I can't tag everyone as I know I'll miss people. But if anyone has any vids or pics, feel free to share them - BIG LOVE 😍

Absolutely chuffed to see the revised set times and and the loveliest person Tim Bulman now making an appearance. He’s one to watch.

MOTION – The Midlands Trance Festival

We are thrilled to present MOTION – The Midlands Trance Festival, set to take place on Saturday, October 19th, 2024, from 4 PM to Midnight. Join us for an exhilarating nonstop 8-hour trance extravaganza featuring some of the finest Trance DJs from the Midlands.

We invite you to celebrate our transition to our new Saturday night venue at The Blue Note in Derby (formerly the legendary home of Progress).

This event will showcase an exclusive lineup of DJs who have been pivotal in our growth over the last 19 months. Here are the artists who will be performing (in no particular order):

• Daz Stanyon
• Clara D
• Wayne Webb
• Jayne
• Scott B
• St John
• Danny Minns
• Tremors
• DJ Competition Winner

Missy Bebbo will return after her amazing debut in June 2024. Known for her captivating energy behind the decks, Missy consistently delivers electrifying trance sets.

Daz Stanyon has quickly become a sought-after name in the scene, performing at prestigious events such as ASOL, Rebooted, and Passion.

Clara D and Wayne Webb delighted our audience at our December 2023 Christmas party with their dynamic trance sets, guaranteed to elevate the atmosphere.

We are excited to welcome Jayne back to MOTION, having already made a lasting impression with us and also delivering her energetic performances at events like Passion, Digbeth Rewind, and Anomaly.

Scott B returns for his second performance. After transitioning to a solo career, Scott (formerly of Beaumont and Round) has graced major stages alongside some of the world's leading DJs.

Tremors, aka Lee, will be making his third appearance with us. He brings a fresh perspective to the scene, delivering driving trance sets laced with captivating vocals.

Additionally, we will be joined by our DJ Competition Winner. This past June, MOTION sought the next generation of trance talent, and we are excited to have the winner showcase their skills at the festival.

Rounding out the lineup are our MOTION residents, Danny Minns and St John, who collectively boast over 50 years of DJ experience. Both have played at some of the largest events in the UK and aboard.

We look forward to sharing this trance-exceptional night of music and celebration with you!

Wow, what a special event we had this weekend. Thanks for everyone who joined us for Digbeth Rewind at Suki10c. Big up all the Ravers and DJs, saw some people I hadn't seen in years which is always a Brucey bonus.
But also, hats of the main man Uncle Colin Elson. Thanks for having me, as per, it was an absolute pleasure to play for you! All ticket sales went to cancer research which makes it even more special.
