Some time ago, mentioned to me that she was collaborating with two other songwriters on a song. When she showed me the demo, I was immediately stunned by the poetry in the writing ✍🏻 This song matured over the span of two years. We wanted it to be full of life and hope, with space to breathe and a sense of moving forward. During the process, we ended up adjusting the tempo three times, making it a little faster each time to find the perfect chill dance-pop balance 😌 As one of the final steps, we arranged the guitar and bass parts with , experimenting with a mix of rhythm patterns from bossa nova and funk/disco.
“Au Revoir Mon Amour” addresses the theme of romantic separation with gratitude and maturity. It explores the idea that love can fade for no clear reason, but that doesn’t mean it has to end badly 🎶
I had a wonderful time collaborating with so many creative and kind-hearted people! Big thanks to the rest of the team for their amazing creativity and generosity 🙏🏽

As young musicians, we've all dreamed of making music with someone who truly gets us. It's a strange feeling, knowing you have a certain musicality that you can't always communicate with others, and it often led me to have intrusive thoughts like, "Maybe I overthink music too much" or "Why do I actually make this musical decision?" That is, until I met my mate from Australia. 🇦🇺

The first time we met was like, "Alright, cool," but the first time we played music together was like, "Oh damn." We just got each other; we understood when to leave space for the music to breathe, we understood each other's calls and cues, and we are genuinely always in service of the music and the artist. 🎶

It's always a blast to play the drums with my brother on bass. Come to the next jam at to meet some cool musicians! Each one just keeps getting better! 🥁 😁

Recently, I've come to realise the importance of carefully selecting and crafting sounds in my music production. It's easy to rush into using familiar sounds or ones that simply get the job done, especially when trying to save time for the artist or maintain the creative flow. However, these sounds play a crucial role in the production and deserve careful consideration to find their perfect place in the arrangement and mix. 🎶

Think about your favourite tunes—they often feature distinctive instruments or sounds that you instantly recognise and that set the mood right away. These sounds become part of the artist's identity and personality, and they are yours to craft delicately. 🎧

That's why I now dedicate time to finding the “perfect” sound, even if it means searching endlessly through one of my favourite synth plugins, the Matrix-12 from . 🎹

Two months ago, I had the incredible opportunity to serve as the MD and multi-instrumentalist for as we opened for a groundbreaking performer at the . This headlining artist is a trailblazer from Saudi Arabia, known for being the first from his country to embark on a world tour—a remarkable achievement with deep cultural significance. Sharing the stage with and being part of this historic event with was truly a proud and unforgettable experience.

The fans were incredibly supportive and welcoming, showing the sweetest appreciation for during her set. Their warmth and enthusiasm made the night even more special. 🙏🏻

Two years ago, and I launched a new series of content on her Instagram. We produced 30-second covers of her favourite tunes, and her fans really loved them. One cover, in particular, stood out as a fan favourite! Seeing the opportunity, she decided to expand the 30-second cover into a fully produced song, infused with her own sound and teenage dream nostalgia. This song went through many creative spaces, from studio, to for vocals, and finally to for guitars and finishing touches. For those who know the original song well, there is a section with new lyrics and a new melody that we added. See if you can spot it.
