We'd like to bring a new literary festival to the local area later this year.

The SE London BookFest is aiming to host 50+ authors over 4 weeks this November and to become an annual occurrence in the book festival calendar.

The vast majority of the events at the festival will have free tickets available and once all operating costs have been covered, any profit made by the festival will be donated to local foodbanks.

All money raised on Kickstarter will help go towards covering some of the running costs. Obviously, the more we raise the bigger and better the festival will be!

For further info, please go to: https://tiny.cc/selbookfest

You can get updates by following the festival on both Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) here:

We are inviting individuals with diabetes who experience foot pain from diabetic neuropathy to join the NeuOst study.

This research aims to evaluate a new medication-free treatment combining hands-on therapy, exercises, and pain management techniques for painful diabetic neuropathy. Participants will take part in a 4-month study, involving assignment to one of three groups: receiving the new treatment, a similar comparison treatment, or continuing usual medical care with no further visits.

Treatments will be administered by fully qualified and registered osteopaths at a university clinic in Borough, London (SE1).

Travel expenses of up to £11.40 per visit will be reimbursed and £15 paid per assessment (up to £60 total).

If interested, please contact the study team at 07523 629286, email [email protected] or visit https://ow.ly/Fs1l50RcfhX.

Your privacy is ensured, and the study has been approved by the UCO Research Ethics Committee.

Join the NeuOst team in improving the lives of those with diabetes and nerve pain!
