Righteous Corner Ltd. Righteous Corner ltd was formed in 1999 by Howard Buckley and Ron Rodney, originally Righteous Corner Ltd started out as a distribution company but God had a different plan. In the summer month of 1999 Willesden Seventh-day Adventist church had a crusade in Shepherd Bush Green where a singing evangelist by the name of Kimberly Washington was ministering, Howard was blessed by
her singing and persuaded her to record a reggae track, a few weeks later Kimberly recorded a 7” single called Wonderful Peace which was the birth of the record label/production company. Since then Ron Rodney left Righteous Corner and Tony Thompson joined the company, after the success of Wonderful peace Howard and Tony started to work on a reggae compilation album which took them to Jamaica where they recorded Chevelle Franklyn, Judy Mowatt, Prodigal Son Home T four to name a few of the recording artist. The album was released in 2004 titled I'm Free, the title track I'm Free song by Chevelle Franklyn was nominated for the Marlin awards best female artist in 2005 and won. In 2004 Howard and Tony decided to build a recording studio Jahovah Jireh mixing lab which was completed in 2005 and since then they have recorded the top reggae gospel artist such as Carline Davis, Jr Tucker, Osmond Collins, Judith Gayle Leroy Gibbons. Righteous corner is also involved with artist development and management, Kimberly Washington, Shadrach and Word of Light quartet are currently under Righteous Corner umbrella. Fast forwarding 10 years to 2015, Daniel 'DJ Swept' merged his small label Spiritual Water Entertainment Production Team (S.W.E.P.T with RCP. In 2015 RCP opened the doors to their studio and invited a range of individuals who are active in the scene to fellowship, share ideas and plan to reignite the genre. The invite was taken up by many and as a result the Tour Riddim came to life. Featuring Lytie, Joshua Kesler, Gyamma, Denis McClean, Junior Dan, Shadrach, Spanna, Richie Dan, Marky T, St Andrew, Rudolph Graham, Iris and TTM Collective – this 12 track album captures all the style, flare and uniqueness of each artist while embodying the joint vision of passion and unity. RCP & S.W.E.P.T is committed to spreading the Goodnews of Jesus Christ through their music touching both believers and non-believers alike.
