🔎 Have you ever stumbled across this stunning four-storey Georgian townhouse in St. James’s? 🤔 Hancocks jewellers was founded back in 1849 - but this building was once home to military tailors, uniform manufacturers, and yacht brokers in the 18th century.

It resides on St James’s Street which has been London’s gentlemanly spine since the late 17th century and was once described as a street “where fortunes changed hands over a handshake” - a natural home of clubs, courtiers, military men, diplomats and discreet wealth.

🚇 Gotta say, in all the years I was a city commuter, was ‘the one’ for me… pulling in with this panorama never gets old and is the perfect way to start any day! 🤯🥰 Do you know a station that can top this? 🤔

🔎 reimagining in the fifties and a little conversation between two police officers on patrol… 😌 Every year since 1947, has gifted the UK a Norwegian Spruce 🎄 grown in Oslo to thank us for our support during WWII. I stumbled across some old black and white photos and my mind wondered… what were the police officers like back then, how did they talk, what would they say to one another on a cold crisp winters night? 🤔 So yes - I used AI to restore the photos and then convert them to little video scenes with an imaginary conversation, and I imagined the police officers going for a brew as they walked away. 🤭 For me this is a fun way to explore history, because we have millions of historical photos documenting London through the ages, and I like the idea of reimagining those moments and periods in history so that future generations can connect with London’s past. So that’s the spirit. Hope you like it. 🙏🏼

There’s lots of little surprises along the way and the “Making & Breaking” bread course is hands down - the best bread you will ever eat in your life, accompanied by 3 butters and spades of joy. 🧈🍞 Living with an Italian for the last 7 years + it’s become crystal clear that we HAVE to make time for great food, and to slow down.
