๐ฝ๏ธ ๐ฅฉ revisited - I still remember the launch in 2016 with .Carter.uk pointing proudly at the logo on the front door (see last photo!). David, ex-Gordon Ramsay at Claridges and Roka, was taking a carnivore street food concept forward as his first fully fledged restaurant, but did so with great finesse, delivering a iconic restaurant focused on BBQ. ๐ Truth be told - we never stopped going. Itโs still the default place we take our international friends whenever they land in London, because it always delivers. And whilst itโs great to help you all discover the latest new openings, itโs also good to remind you that you canโt have too much of a good thing! ๐คช Back again, and quick as flash we went into the Brisket Buns with sweet pickled chillis ๐ถ๏ธ accompanied by grilled padron, crispy ox cheek, charred greens, coal roasted aubergine + red miso + feta + toasted cashew (INSANE), more brisket for the table, and skin on chips with aioli! Drinks are epic - choose from outstanding beers, or my go-to is the Green Chilli Tommyโs which is a blockbuster cocktail ๐น๐ฅ Dessert is the Sticky Toffee Pudding - another level I tell you. Where else can you eat this well in London, I ask you?! ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ๐๐ผ
