1. Be present and take each day at a time for tomorrow is promised to no one.

2. Don’t go a day without prayer and being grateful to God.

3. Respect time and stay outside of your comfort zone as fear & procrastination are purpose killers.

4. Forgive quickly, love loudly, laugh daily.

Some battles take longer to win than expected.

Some wounds take longer to heal than you would’ve ever imagined.

And some broken hearts and past bruises can leave some people numb and brutal approach as they walk across the bridge called life.

Continue to love on them both in and out of season. Adapt to do more listening and watching than pointing and speaking.

Hugging rather than adding moments of humour to camouflage the problem.

Patience and endurance can be painful but regret is a memory that can be hard to wash away.

Pls don’t stop reaching out to people even after a long period of non-contact, it may be just that one time that will be the breakthrough that they need.

Yes, exercise wisdom and discernment with whom you interact with and reach out to as some doors are best kept shut, but pls never stop praying for such a person as there truly is power in prayer.

Scripture Reminder Galatians 6:9 - Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we DO NOT GIVE UP.

Lust can be a silent killer and a slow burner.

Many of today’s pop culture will encourage you to embrace it without highlighting the long term damaging consequences of its true nature.

Yesterday one my mentees reminded me of something I shared with him that has helped him tremendously in this current season.

As he uttered the pointers back to me it reminded me to always be grateful to God for the life lessons along with His saving grace for the past, present and future journey ahead.

Be weary in knowing that lust is also interconnected to pride. It would have you believing that you’re strong enough to conquer what is trying to control you. Don’t fall victim to this and seek wise counsel whenever in doubt.

The Scripture in 2 Timothy 2:22 keeps it simple yet effective. It tells us what to flee from as well as what to pursue.

Why? Because whenever we run from something we are inevitably running to something. Let that be God.

Keep accountable, share your wrestles and struggles with a wise counterpart and someone trustworthy that will love you, pray for you, guide you and not condemn or gossip about you.

If you have fallen victim to lust recently, remember God’s grace is sufficient for you so bring it to His throne of grace.

Oh and remember that fleeing is wisdom and not a sign of weakness.

While the media mocked you for a gun tattoo you had on your leg without knowing the knowledge of your Father being gunned down and murdered.

They tried to ridicule you in the last tournament and tear down your character and now you’re England’s top goal scorer and performer yet only ONE of the 9 mainstream newspapers recognised your efforts and put you on the front page.

They fail to portray the Father as well as the footballer that is performing better than anyone expected.

You’ve show resilience in the face of ridicule and faith when they deemed you a failure and you’ve done us all proud.

Keep up the great work Raza .

Pls pls pls stop trying to prove yourself to people that do not respect, value you. Love them yes, serve them in truth and humility yes but ultimately remember what God has called you to do.

Some people are focused on delaying your progress rather than praying for you and supporting you.

It’s exhausting and doesn’t only waste time but kills momentum. Energy goes where energy flows.

Sometimes dusting your feet off and keeping it moving doesn’t always mean you dislike someone or don’t care about them. It sometimes means it may not be the season or hour so keep it moving.

Know thy self, know your calling and act accordingly.

At the end of the day all that matters is the words “well done good and faithful servant” - God.

Listen, Learn, Serve, Press on & Pray.

Never ever stop sharing the gospel and the love of Christ with people in the world.

You’ll never ever know what God is doing regardless of the day, time or season.

His word will never return to Him void.

Grateful for this powerful testimony that was shared with me by an amazing sister in the faith a few weeks back.

To my fellow leaders, believers and babes in the faith may Galatians 6:9 be your portion. May they the battles in your mind whether it be your checkered past or your age be a stumbling block to you.

But rather may the compelling love and endless grace of God and our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ be with you.

If anyone has ever ran 800m you will know how the lungs burn after that first 400. But more than just sport, watching this reminded me that we can either make excuses for the hand we are dealt or get a result from it. I pray we all continue to persevere through the process. Plan, pivot and press on. Remember to see life as a series of lessons and feedback moments rather than losses and failures. You are made for more. EDA
