Throughout the last month of 2023, we were immersed in shooting and editing Folly Group's "Pressure Pad". The video's concept revolves around the powerful theme of collaboration across various spaces and times, blending both the physical and emotional aspects.

Imagine a captivating 4-way split screen resembling windows, each segment offering a distinct perspective on the creation, reaction, and essence of the song. From wild and abstract scenes to a close-up of an intense gaze, these contrasting screens seamlessly come together, narrating the intricate story of the song's making. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BAGfKxx3uFo

Inspired by the unconventional process of writing and producing the song, Kai, Tom, Louis, and Sean didn't physically gather to create "Pressure Pad." Instead, they added their unique touches individually, sending the song across platforms. This innovative approach resulted in a masterpiece that encapsulates the complexities of collaboration and creation 🎶✨

This week, we are sharing the music video we produced for Gently Tender, a talented group of musicians including Sam Fryer, Peter Mayhew, Will Doyle, Celia Archer, and Adam Brown.

In Gently Tender 's music world, they aim for a mix of beauty, soul, and a bit of toughness. Their track "Love All the Population" challenged us creatively, as we had to integrate studio footage with the raw beauty of a natural location—a creative adventure that paid off!

Our team used the power of our 6K Blackmagic Pocket Pro Camera and added a vintage touch with our Super 8, resulting in a visually captivating experience. 🎥

We transitioned the animated lyric video aesthetics into a captivating CD front and back cover, maintaining the same energy throughout the creative process.

We teamed up with two incredible artists, the legendary Valete and the amazing talent Nayr, to craft a lyric video that truly resonates.

Valete - A true legend who paved the way for Portuguese rap in '97. We delved into his powerful lyrics, creating a visual ode to his impact on the scene.

Nayr Faquira - Bringing fresh vibes with a mix of Portuguese and Mozambican influences. Together, we spun a visual narrative that echoes Nayr's unique voice as she embarks on her musical journey.

Meet 'Julia,' the remarkable power trio consisting of lifelong friends Adam Carrier-Sippy (Electric Guitar), Matt Ritson (Bass Guitar), and Will Ritson (Drum Kit). Their musical journey began at the age of 13 in South London, bonding over their shared love for creating a sound that defies easy categorization—a true testament to their deep passion for experimentation and exploration.

Fast forward two decades, and 'Julia' found themselves facing the challenge of distance, with Will residing in Cornwall. Opportunities to play together became a rare occurrence, happening at most once a year. With each rare occurrence attended by their cult following. Despite the logistical hurdles, the band decided to come together for an intimate gig exclusively for friends and family. The setting, rich with nostalgia, transported everyone back to the early days when they used to jam in school music rooms.

Capturing this rare reunion was an honour for our team. Our mission that night was to preserve the magical atmosphere in the room while remaining unobtrusive, allowing the band to perform as if we weren't even there.

The result is a timeless live set that immortalizes the essence of that special evening—a testament to the enduring power of music and friendship.
