1 year ago Mark Tappin of Made By Third, Giant Party and myself hatched a plan to make a short film documenting the band writing, rehearsing and recording a brand new track, 'Find A Feeling To Share', in under a week. Where it all started...SLAF002: Slow Riot's 'Cathedral' EP was our first ever vinyl release. So many happy memories...recording these 4 tracks at Manic Street Preachers 'Faster' Studios in Cardiff, shooting 2 excellent videos, dropping the needle on the pressed vinyl discs for the first time, to seeing the first positive reviews come in. All round a crazy rush of adrenaline and emotions. I listened to the EP for the first time in a while this week and was struck by just how vital it still sounds. If you're looking for something to soundtrack a rainy Sunday then this is your record 🖤
