A good commit message isn’t just for others; it’s for future you—the one who will debug that code at 2 AM.

Here’s how to make your commit history clear, useful, and frustration-free:

🔹 5 Simple Tips for Better Commits:

✅ Explain WHY, not just WHAT

❌ Added validation

✅ Validate email format to prevent sign-up errors

✅ Summarize WHAT, not HOW

❌ Updated CSS file and changed padding values

✅ Improve form spacing for better readability

✅ Use present tense & imperative mood

❌ I have fixed the issue with payments

✅ Fix checkout bug causing double charges

✅ Reference work items (if possible)
