Thanks for writing.

I reviewed your interview, and I can see why you are concerned.

He's a gifted orator, but it It would be very tricky, however, to rebut or review the piece because very little objective evidence is presented to support the bold claims.

This is not to say that he is right or wrong, but it is impossible to comment on the accuracy or validity of "facts" when you don't have actual data or sources to refer to. A lot of his statements are quite teflon coated and speculative.

Personally, I'd reshoot the interview and press him for actual evidence and underpinning mechanisms. Eg Get him to present a graph showing this excess mortality data and point to where the trajectory abruptly changes in sync with vaccines and why the confounders you highlighted are not relevant. Likewise, get him to actually explain, and evidence, the genetic changes he is claiming that the vaccines cause, and the evidence that spike proteins are being chronically produced etc. I was intrigued by his comments about reverse transcription. This doesn't naturally occur in the body, which is why viruses like HIV bring their own version.

If you did the above, I think you'll then have an argument that can actually be scrutinised. Otherwise it will come across as just an antivax rant that could damage your journalistic reputation.

Furthermore, at the moment, I fear most people would struggle to know what they were rebutting if you asked them to comment.

Anything you say in this arena will be amplified and distorted, by everyone.

If you are seen to appear to take sides, it will undermine your media training credentials.

I do agree that this vaccine business needs proper scrutiny, but it's got to be done right, otherwise it will backfire.

Highly politicised “fact-checkers” FIRED and free speech RESTORED

“It’s time to go back to our roots about free expression on Facebook and Instagram”, said Mark Zuckerberg

Meta’s decision marks a dramatic departure from its previous approach to combating misinformation, which relied on partnerships with third-party fact-checking organisations.

The shift is widely seen as an effort to align with Trump, whose administration has championed free speech and criticised social media censorship.

“Facebook's parent company Meta will end its third-party fact-checking program and move to a so-called community notes model, company chief Mark Zuckerberg announced today.

“We’re going to get back to our roots, and focus on reducing mistakes, simplifying our policies and restoring free expression on our platforms," Zuckerberg said in a video statement on Meta's corporate website.

"More specifically, we're going to get rid of fact-checkers and replace them with community notes, similar to X, starting in the U.S,” he added.
