Every Who down in Who-ville loved Christmas so bright,
But Mike, The Grinch, thought it wasn't right.
He scowled at Hayley, who twirled in the snow,
And frowned at Daisy, her face all aglow.
Gavin sang carols, his voice full of cheer,
While Sophie munched gingerbread, spreading joy far and near.
Jay dreamed of stardom, leaping so high,
Viv and Megan shared stories of bubble-gum pie.
Mike stole their joy, but their singing stayed strong,
And his heart grew three sizes when he heard their song,

Which coincidentally was a stone cold banger from the BMG catalogue.

The incredibly talented Kathryn Bostic is an Emmy nominated and award winning composer, artist and producer known for her work on award-winning films, TV, Broadway and acclaimed symphonic concert performances. In 2016 she became the first African American female score composer in the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

Theo Vidgen is a composer specialising in television, film, and commercials. His recent credits include scoring the eight-part drama Everything Now on Netflix and the animated series 101 Dalmatian Street for Disney. He co-composed the score for Everything Now alongside Laura Mvula and Rupert Cross, and provided music for An Octoroon at The National Theatre, showcasing his versatility and depth as an artist.

In addition to his work in entertainment, Theo has collaborated on advertising campaigns for leading brands such as O2, Skoda, Amazon, M&S, McCain, and Charlie Bigham, among others.

Next up in our ‘Meet The Composer’ series: Joseph Wander (josephvwander)

Based in North-West London, Joseph Wander is a standout songwriter and producer. He started his journey as an engineer at Miloco Studios, working with heavyweights like The 1975, Frank Ocean, and Disclosure.

Transitioning to production, he co-wrote Dodie’s EPs, including the chart-topping “You” (2017). Recently recognised by the PRS Foundation Hitmaker Fund, Joseph has been working with artists like Lewis Capaldi, Måneskin, and James TW. Notably, he co-wrote Måneskin’s upcoming single “Valentine,” part of their deluxe album ‘RUSH!’ set for release in November this year.
