Some incredible news which we are a little late in sharing! THIS WEEKEND will be screening at and qualifying festival Leeds International Film Festival - LIFF 😍 we are beyond grateful and honoured to be part of the official selection at and excited to see how audiences receive our film. You can watch Broken Castles as part of the Fanomenon Short Film Comp 1 this Sunday, 10 November at 11:30AM at Vue - The Light, Screen 12. Congratulations to our talented team for this great achievement! We shall see you there 😊🍿🎥

A year and a half later Borrowed Time wraps its festival run, and what a ride it’s been for our short drama 🖤 Screened at BIFA, Canadian Screen Award and Academy Award qualifying festivals in the UK, USA and across Europe, we couldn’t be more grateful for our film’s journey. A massive thank you to our cast and crew - none of this would have happened without your hard work and talent. And an equally massive thank to all the festivals teams, audiences and juries 🙏⭐️ has also secured a distribution deal and we can’t wait to reveal more about that soon…😍👀 onward and upwards here at North Harley Films HQ. We have two more short films coming soon and a much anticipated feature project on the way…

We are so excited to share the news that North Harley Films founder Ginevra Gentili will be part of the North East International Film Festival 2023 Grand Jury 💥😍🙏 It really is our favourite film festival run fair and square by the most wonderful and genuine people. We can’t wait to be there in the fall and see all the brilliant talent in this year’s edition! 🔥

Sharing some 'good' news on Good Friday. The are thrilled to introduce our 4th Grand Jury member for our 2023 events, NEIFF festival Alumni and winner of our 2022 Audience Choice Award, Ginevra Gentili
Ginevra Gentili is a British-Italian filmmaker and the Founder of production company, North Harley Films. Ginevra has directed and produced multiple award-winning films, music videos and music documentaries with artists such as Eivør and Sohodolls. Historically, Ginevra’s main film focus has been on genres such as drama and films based upon real life events. To date, her work has received over 30 awards and nominations, including winning the Short Film Audience Choice Award at the North East International Film Festival last year with her film, Borrowed Time. Ginevra has also received accolades for Best Female Director at the 2021 Annual Independent Shorts Awards with Tell Tale Signs. She is currently in post-production for Broken Castles, which she was commissioned to direct and co-produce. Ginevra is now prepping to film a proof-of-concept short from her slate, which is derived from her debut feature, Animae Divisae, which she hopes to begin production for at the end of 2023.

They deserve a massive shoutout and big recognition - because of them, we’ve had two of the smoothest and most efficiently ran productions since the start of NHF. They’ve been a huge pleasure to work with and mentor, they’re genuine and beautiful humans with a great passion for film. Around a year ago we were very lucky to meet two amazing people who trusted us to help them bring their vision to life. Thanks to an incredibly talented, hardworking and collaborative team, we finally saw come to life during an intense weekend of filming last week. Post-production has just kicked off and it won’t be long before we can give you a proper peek at this unique story. ✨🎬 🏰
