The sisters rose to fame during the height of the pandemic, when they smashed chart records becoming the UK’s best-selling classical artist debut.

Launching in August 2024, Stories in Sound is a new immersive experience from Abbey Road Studios combining rich storytelling with live music.
For the first time, music fans can hear the incredible story of Abbey Road and its role in music history, alongside live performances of the music created in our walls. Taking place in the legendary Studio Two, Stories in Sound brings the audience into the world of Abbey Road through the iconic songs and film scores that have shaped popular culture for over 92 years.
Led by music experts and authors of Recording the Beatles, Kevin Ryan & Brian Kehew, this unforgettable experience will be brought to life through storytelling, imagery and performances. Immerse yourself in music as a live string quartet, guitarist & pianist play the soundtrack to our lives in every room it was recorded. Stories in Sound is a timeless and unforgettable journey of the people, tales and music that have changed the course of music history forever. Running across 2, 3, & 4 August at various times, in-person tickets are available via the link below.
*New for this year, for those who cannot attend in person, Abbey Road will be hosting a global STREAM on Saturday, 10 August 2024 with loads of behind-the-scenes content not seen at the event including exclusive looks at our spaces and gear, live musical performances and special guests TBA.

Celebrating one year of Morgan Wallen's album, 'One Thing At A Time' at Abbey Road Studios ❤️
We've had this clip of this never-before recorded Nothing But Thieves cover on repeat, as well as the sensational live clip of 'Lies Lies Lies' at Abbey Road Studios, which reached one million views in just 3 days, and was the #2 trending video in the U.S. last week! A testament to both the song and this performance.
In just one year, this incredible album from Morgan has topped the charts with billions of streams. Coinciding with its anniversary, Morgan recorded 5 brand new live versions of tracks from the album, and this cover of Nothing But Thieves' Graveyard Whistling’, all recorded here in Studio Two.
Sessions were recorded by Lewis Jones along with Matt Jones, Tommy Bosustow and Sarah Meyz.

Today, we mourn the loss of a true musical legend, Cockney Rebel frontman, Steve Harley. 🤍 From ‘Make Me Smile (Come Up and See Me)’ to 'Love's a Prima Donna' to 'The Candidate', Steve’s artistry has left an indelible mark on our studio's history. Rest in peace, Steve. Your legacy will echo through the ages... 🎸
Abbey Road Studios has been at the forefront of music creativity since Sir Edward Elgar’s inaugural performance back in 1931. An awe-inspiring location, popular with leading orchestras and artists including Florence and the Machine, Kanye West and Adele, Abbey Road has hosted many landmark recordings and technological breakthroughs.
The most famous, and oldest, purpose built recording studio in the world, Abbey Road is of course synonymous with The Beatles, but its unparalleled history spans the invention of stereo and the wild experiments of Pink Floyd to the creation of film scores for movies including Star Wars and Skyfall. Abbey Road was declared an English Heritage Grade II listed site in 2010, but the focus continues to be on the future and helping to spread the expertise and knowledge present within the building to a new generation of musicians, engineers and producers around the world.
