This afternoon, our superstar eagle, Hercules, flew in the coin at the beginning of the game at the Vancouver Football Club! ⚽️ 🦅

Why is Hercules flying at the Vancouver FC game?

Hercules is a great ambassador to help inspire a love of nature and wildlife in people wherever he flies- which is why we were excited to bring to him to the VFC! Herc has flown with us all over BC and is comfortable in many situations, which we believe makes him uniquely qualified and comfortable to fly in spaces like the Willoughby Community Stadium. Prior to flying him at the game, we brought him to check out the stadium to see if it was a situation he was comfortable with. Hercules immediately demonstrated he was comfortable with his clear, calm body language and relaxed demeanor. During the event, Herc flew completely free - he has the choice to leave when he is flying, and giving him this control over his environment insures he only engages with situations he is comfortable with! We are so proud of our incredible boy!!!!! 🦅
