New today ✨ No. 43 Studies for a Painted Home, by .

Marie Jacotey ‘collects’ patterns. The warp and weft of a textile, the tiling on a shopfront or a heavily decorated pot all feed her fascination, leading her from ornamental objects to friezes, façades and indoor frescoes.

In Studies for a Painted Home, the artist pays close attention to these serendipitous occurrences of colour and form, inviting us to lose ourselves in intricate details that might otherwise be overlooked.

In this zine, No. 43 in the series, she moves deftly between the macro and the micro of everyday life – switching from figurative drawings to a very, very close examination of a pleasing surface.

We're offering free printing to any individuals or organisations participating in the National March for Palestine, which is taking place in London and across the UK this Saturday. 

Here are the steps if you want to have posters or artwork printed:
1. Email your artwork to [email protected] by 5pm Thursday 19th October BST. First-come, first-served, until we are fully booked.
2. We will prepare and print (up to) 50 x A3 copies of each artwork in two colours of your choice. 
3. You will receive a collection time for Friday 20th October, when you will be able to collect your prints. 
4. Collect at the designated time from our studio at 20 Goswell Road, London, EC1M 7AA, by 5pm. 

COPYSHOPS is an active initiative created by HATO to support the voice of the community. In the past, it has supported protesters in Hong Kong, marches against Brexit and the fight against climate change.

This weekend's protest in support of Palestine will meet at 12pm at Marble Arch, London, before marching to Downing Street. For more information, see .

A documentarian by nature, Daniel travels through his day-to-day life photographing vehicles which proudly bear evidence of the repairs they have been subject to. Damaged parts are switched for replacements from donor vehicles; their difference in colour an homage to the fix itself.

This new iteration in the series, entitled No.42 Visible Vehicle Repairs, presents a collection of cars, vans and other automobiles featuring donor parts. Along with the zine, the collection also features two posters – one in blue, and one in gold.

Tomorrow evening, join us at our Barbican studio to celebrate the zine’s launch IRL, with a performative lecture by the artist himself 🍺
