entral London. The Great Portland Street studio facility has approximately 2000 square feet of space, providing two large very well equipped studios including a full kitchen with 3-phase power. Both studios are running the latest version of Sinar's Digital Imaging System, and have an on-site high-end retouching suite and colour proofing. Laura Forrest has worked full time in studio administration and stills production since 1984, and has managed Great Portland Street studios since 1989. With her excellent understanding of the industry in all it's facets and foibles, she is on hand to make things easy for everyone. Working closely with photographer and client, Laura matches the best of food stylists & props stylists, model agents and make-up artists, model makers and set builders - whoever or whatever is required - to every brief. Backed up by a vast wealth of production knowledge and expertise, she can help with every step of the planning process, providing seem-less integration between both practical and creative considerations and ensuring that every shoot runs smoothly, efficiently, on time and on budget. Chris Biggs has been working in the photographic industry in London since 1978 and from his studios in Great Portland Street since 1989. Over the years, Chris has worked on a myriad of projects - from cars to food, room-sets and lifestyle, on location and in the studio. His ever present desire for composition and lighting perfection and for achieving the very best from the most varied concepts is well known amongst Chris's clients and has earned him a position of high regard within the creative community. Best known for his food, drink and liquids photography, but always enjoying the diversity of work his portfolio attracts, Chris is a true creative and assured craftsman. Sarah Jane Leggett has a passion for food, art and design. Able to create beautiful and stylish images across all photographic disciplines, she has propelled herself into many interesting and successful photographic assignments. Her work has led her to achieve a broad and varied client base. Equally at home shooting on location or in the studio, Sarah embraces the challenge of new ideas. Drawing on her substantial experience and skill in stills photography she is now also showing great promise and enthusiasm for working with the moving image. Whether it’s luxury lifestyle accessories or consumer electronics, food or drink, an abstract conceptual editorial or an advertising shoot for a big name client, Tristan Townley brings his considered technical skills, graphic style, and vibrant creativity to the studio scene. The Canadian born still-life photographer began his career a decade ago and has been with Biggs Represents and based at Great Portland Street studios since 2004. Sally Hamer was born and raised in central London but adores to travel and her photography mirrors her interest in foreign cultures and food. Sally studied photography to A level and went on to take a two-year diploma course in photography at the University of the Arts London. After graduating with Merit, she then assisted a broad range of food and travel photographers in London, gaining valuable experience and knowledge in the fields of editorial, packaging and advertising photography. Sally brings her lively enthusiasm and initiative to every project and has a natural flair for capturing current food trends.
