Waking up to a sunny CPH is like catching the city in a rare, glowing moment. I’ve only experienced the cold, introspective winters here, but summer—oh, it transforms everything. Especially with a stop by @rest_palaegade to indulge in their revered smørrebrød. 🤤
We sampled a few signature dishes including crisp fried filet of witch flounder with remoulade and lemon which was deliciously crispy. The hand-peeled shrimp on toast, topped with a fried egg and Gastro Unika “Gold Selection” caviar, that was very rich and decadent. Fried Danish sardine with creamy leeks, chanterelles, pickled pine, and fermented asparagus sauce which were my absolute favourite and finally a classic red pickled herring paired with rhubarb, rosehip, crème fraîche, and onion.
Absolutely recommend 🫶 Smørrebrød done right with a perfect blend of classic and contemporary takes.
Recap from our dinner at @bistrodelamerams . The Domaine Fèvre Chablis paired with Lagoustine confit, verbena, and Jupiter berries was a standout, with the Chablis’s crisp notes perfectly enhancing the delicate lagoustine and herbal accents.
The grilled white asparagus with smoked eel and chervil veloutée was equally tasty. The velvety veloutée and smoky eel created a harmonious and exquisite dish. Truly delivers its one Michelin Star. ⭐️ Also tried Dutch oysters paired with Champagne but they were too creamy for my taste 😜

I was warmly welcomed to experience the ultimate Scent Strength Style by Linda Pilkington, the genius behind the brand, who personally served coffee—a gesture of quiet humbleness that amazed me. The boutique, with curved glass window bays overlooking the street, sets the stage for a fragrance adventure.😻
Linda’s signature hemlock-infused scent, a turning point for the boutique, is meticulously crafted in their London laboratory. Using exotic ingredients like tuberose, green tea, champaca flower, basmati rice, and carrot seed, each perfume carries a story from her travels. 💕🌎
After touring these gorgeous fragrances, I chose a refillable bottle of Evernia as my perfect match—a wood and earthy marvel crafted with oak moss. The overall impression is of soft interlacing flowers: lily, freesia, orris, and violet, fanned with the unmistakable aroma and tenacity of oakmoss. Absolutely stunning 😍 couldn’t recommend this more 🥂
