A dive into some of our well used rack FX…

Eventide H3000
Versatile and luxurious sounding multi FX from the early 80’s with more patches than is in anyway sensible and featuring everything from functional delays to outrageous bonkers auto ‘whoosh’ sounds.

Lexicon PCM 70
More 80’s goodness. This unit is famed for its lush reverbs but also has some decent delays, chorus and comb filtering effects.

Lexicon PCM 41
Early digital delay, with modulation that can go to real extremes. Has a very unique lo fi flavour that’s pretty damn special.

Moogerfooger MF101 and MF102
Large, amazing sounding (and looking) low pass and ring mod pedals. Functions can be patched to each other and other Moog stuff - eg the LFO from the ring modulator can be patched into the cutoff frequency of the filter, which is preeetty cool!

Roland RE-301 Space Echo
Classic tape delay. This one is quite rare and features delay, chorus and spring reverb. Also makes a killer distortion unit if you drive the input!

ART Mulitiverb LTX (modded)
A really cheap multi fx (it doesn’t have any parameter control!) but with a really cool down sampling modification that allows you manually control the sample rate for some cool bit crushed goodness.

Congrats .perlin for reaching 3 mil on 🥂 - recorded and mixed at MAP! Currently working on the new album together. It’s sounding prrretty nice, can’t wait for it to be out in the world! 🪄

On the Rhode(s) again! 🎹 🧳 Our MKII ‘73 was born somewhere between 1979-1981 when CBS dropped the ‘Fender’ name and started calling them a MKII. Apart from the name there’s only very subtle differences between MKI and MKII but this one has that luscious, sparkly tone and deep bass people generally associate with this model. It’s an amazing instrument but don’t just take my word for it, come play for yourself!

Audient ASP8024. Our favourite peace of furniture. 🪑 Very useful too in fairness.
So many get excited over old 70’s and 80’s classics - Neve, SSL etc or repurposed broadcast desks but this guy just turns up and does the job. No faffy complexity, no quirky outdated features, just a mixing desk. Also with a rather nice strip of ash wood to rest your arms on!
Also their customer service is mad good.

Our well loved W. Hoffmann upright. These excellent pianos are a brand owned and produced by renown German manufacturer, C Bechstein. This particular model was marketed as a ‘small piano for big ideas’ I couldn’t agree more! It plays well, sounds great mic’d up, stays in tune and also features a hand operated dampener - sorta reminiscent of a cutoff frequency k**b on a synthesiser!

Originally from South Carolina, Kathy got her chops while singing in her local Gospel choir, and later with R&b outfit called Sweet Cinnamon. As a result Kathy’s vocals are tinged with R&B and gospel influences. House music hits such as ’Turn me on’ which remixed and re-released as “Turn me out’, hit the number one spot on the Billboard charts in 1997. Kathys last single "Can't Get You Outta My Mind’ was released in 2020. ©️
