In honour of the relaunch, the shirtmaker has played something of a blinder. Specifically, the addition to its ranks of Peaky Blinders star Harry Kirton.

We are still dreaming of sketch]'s refreshed Gallery restaurant interior. A collaboration between architect and designer India Mahdavi and artist Yinka Shonibare CBE RA .
Shonibare created 13 pieces for Gallery at Sketch, titled Modern Magic, a celebration of African culture that features hand-painted masks carved from wood and intricate framed quilts. Yellow hues and seating lined with Senegalese geometric-print fabrics produced by famous textile designer Aissa Dione further transform the formerly sugar-pink space. Shinobare's installation ‘Alien Woman on Flying Machine’, 2011 has just gone on display at Sketch too. The work examines racial prejudice, xenophobia and ideas of ‘otherness’ within a post-colonial context. Visit sketch] and to find out more.
Singer, songwriter, pianist and performer enthralled an audience of lucky music lovers as part of the Penthouse Conversations events.
Reuben was joined by Ferg Ireland on double bass to play an exciting selection of his work and thrilling takes on the classics against the backdrop of the sun setting over London. Journalist and author Rob Ryan hosted the evening and spoke to Reuben about his life in music - from playing with B.B. King as a teen to jamming with Joni Mitchell in her living room.
