Dalbert’s musical journey began in childhood, shaped by parents who loved a wide range of genres — from pop, reggae, rock, disco, funk, and blues — deeply influencing his musical culture and artistic development.
His first steps into music production came through a short-lived rap project with classmates, but in 2007 he discovered electronic music: drawn to its sound, atmosphere, and the diverse vibrations it offered. This opened the door to exploring multiple electronic styles, from high-energy techno to smooth house, deep house, tech house, dub, and other lower-tempo genres, allowing him to express his musical vision across different dancefloor contexts.
At the same time, Romania was witnessing the rise of a new electronic movement: experimental, contemplative, and refined micro-minimal sounds, which strongly influenced Dalbert’s DJ sets and artistic direction.
Since 2009, he has developed his experience through various clubs and events in Galați and Bucharest, sharing the decks with artists such as Barac, Arapu, Kozo, Priku, Cap, Cristi Cons, Miss I, Posh111, Charlie, and Suciu, alongside many other talented figures from the Romanian underground scene.
In 2016, Dalbert moved to London, where he fell in love with the UK underground sound, a connection that actually began back in Romania, through another musical project exploring styles like dub, breaks, jungle, trip-hop, future bass, and acid.
In London, he has played at both legal and illegal raves, including Pleasure Room, Paravibe, Extended, Starlane, Oscillate Sound, Last Arch, and various underground locations.
Always focused on atmosphere, depth, and groove, Dalbert continues to shape a sound meant to engage, explore, and delight listeners every time.
