Pernod Ricard and dentsu have extended its strategic partnership following a competitive pitch appointing Carat as the Pernod Ricard media planning and buying partner for its Europe Entities - as well as strengthening the existing relationship with sister agency, iProspect, in Spain.

From July, Carat will work with Pernod Ricard’s extensive portfolio of renowned brands including Absolut Vodka, Beefeater Gin, Ballantine’s, Chivas, Jameson, among others.

Earlier this week, Carat Global Brand President Fiona Lloyd took stage at the annual Outvertising Live event to discuss the importance of tackling mental-health stigma in the advertising industry.

With a specific focus around supporting those from the LGBTQAI+ community, Fiona joined other industry leaders in sharing their lived experience of coping with mental health challenges and, what lessons can be learned for the whole sector.

Fiona was very clear; the leaders of adland need to be comfortable in showing their own vulnerability, to be empathetic to the real issues facing their teams and to challenge bad work-life practices.
