British music scene. After finding her musical identity with her project "Brown Sugar," she draws inspiration from artists like Lauryn Hill and Nas. Born in Cape Verde, West Africa, Jessica is known for embracing RnB, hip-hop, and spoken word in her music to express her emotions and struggles.
