Some people may not know I am also a piercer along side everything else I do. Two days a week I “Work” at poking holes in people. Tattoo studios even from a young age where always a beacon of light that I always wanted to be a part of. All the studios I’ve worked at I have met incredible people. They are filled with hard working, creative and the kindest people you will ever meet. One of these many people is .dots_ who you will see in these pictures. Who has been my partner in crime, constant supply of laughter and knowledge since returning to the industry. (Along with but she was tattooing herself while I shot these)
I guess this post is just nod to not judging a book by its cover. You may meet your favourite characters if you venture through the pages. ❤️

I don’t think sunsets will ever get old. Waiting to see if it’s a good one or a great one. Chasing them in the car to get the right colour or waiting for it to hit the right part of the sky for it completely changed a minute later.
New Zealand has some of the best sunsets I have ever seen.

Okay… you can have one more. Again shot at a 30 sec shutter. The amazing part about these shot is it is pitch black out so I couldn’t see what I was aiming at, so I would have to aim, then adjust until I found the right spot.

The clear skies last night were too beautiful to pass up. I couldn't resist getting out of bed to capture this stunning shot using a 30-second shutter. The pink hues in the sky may be from light pollution, but they only added to the beauty of the moment. Sometimes, even the unexpected elements can make for the perfect shot. ✨📷

Can't believe I finally made it to Mount Cook, the majestic peak that served as the inspiration for the Misty Mountains in The Hobbit. Standing here, surrounded by mist and clouds, it's easy to imagine Bilbo and the dwarves making their way through these same peaks and valleys. The sheer beauty of this place is just surreal, with its jagged peaks, glacier-fed lakes, and pristine alpine landscapes. I feel blessed to witness this natural wonder, and I hope this photo does justice to its grandeur. If you're a fan of The Hobbit, or just love epic scenery, you must add Mount Cook to your bucket list! 🏔️✨

Pairing a 1/4 black diffusion with the Variable ND has helped to create some beautifully smooth skin tones. Leaving the other more harsh colours in the images to be bold but not take the full spot light.
